Role Overview
- Responsible for inventory management and material operations in an office-based environment.
- Will work closely with Planners, Stores, and other internal teams.
- Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day.
- Start time can be flexible between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM.
- There may be limited travel, but travel is not a major part of the role.
- Industry background is not a barrier; candidates with strong, transferable inventory/materials experience can be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain new items/materials in SAP.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory activities.
- Perform cycle counts, particularly around the end of the month.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Work closely with the Stores team on material and inventory activities.
- Support and collaborate with Planners and other stakeholders.
- Interact with different teams and people throughout the organization.
Systems
- SAP – important
- Maximo – nice to have, but NOT a must-have.
Ideal Candidate
- Hands-on inventory/materials management experience.
- Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, discrepancies, and item/material setup.
- Comfortable working with SAP or similar inventory systems.
- Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with multiple teams.
- Able to work independently in an office environment while collaborating closely with Stores and Planning.
